Description of : Wintools Spyware should not be mistaken with the valid harmless application Wintools included in the Windows OS. This particular malware is installed along with IBIS WebSearch toolbar through drive-by downloads. It inflicts your computer with unnecessary clutter such as so-called 'search assistants' which trigger redirecting of error pages or mistyped URLs to their search page. It is also known to produce pop-up advertising. Actively running processes from Wintools Spyware always run in the background, and as soon as you kill one running process it will relaunch itself again.
