How to update ZeroSpyware
 
ZeroSpyware automatically checks for updates, and prompts you to download when one becomes available. Spyware mutates rapidly, with new variants introduced every day. If you want consistent protection you should update whenever asked to do so by ZeroSpyware. If you miss an automatic update, or simply want to check for any new ones, please follow one of the procedures outlined below.
 
  1. Run ZeroSpyware and go to the General Settings panel.
  2. Click the ‘Check for updates’ link to start downloading updates.
 
  1. Run ZeroSpyware and go to the System Status panel.
  2. Find the 'Subscription' area. If your current spyware definition status is 'Not updated', click 'Update' link to start downloading updates.
  3. If your current spyware definition is updated, the 'Check for updates' link will not be available.

 
  1. If you are connected to the Internet, ZeroSpyware will automatically check for updates periodically. Once an available update is found, a pop-up window at the bottom right corner of your screen will inform you of available updates.
  2. On the pop-up window, click ‘OK’ to start downloading updates.

 
  1. Go to the FBM Software homepage (http://www.fbmsoftware.com).
  2. Look for the ‘Latest Updates’ area on the main page and locate the update you wish to download.
  3. Click on 'More info' to go to the update's corresponding information page.
  4. Click on the ‘Download Now’ button to download the update.

  2. Click on the ‘Downloads’ button in the navigation menu to go to the Downloads page.
  3. In the 'Download free trials' area, locate ZeroSpyware and click the 'Download now' link. This will save the download manager to your computer.
  4. Run the download manager to download the updated 15-day trial of the program.
  5. Once the download is finished, run the saved installer file to begin installation.
  6. When you run ZeroSpyware , a registration window will pop up asking for your registration information. If you are a registered user, click 'Register now' to enter your old registration key. If you are not a registered user, you can still use ZeroSpyware for the remainder of the trial period.
